CBC Live at SnowGlobe Recap

Boom!

So if you didn’t hear all over the googles, Con Bro Chill (the band!) performed live on the main stage at the Snow Globe Music Festival in Lake Tahoe on December 30th, 2011. A great friend, Chad Donnelly (Executive Producer of SnowGlobe), got us a spot on the main stage after Bassnectar. Ya, we basically headlined the festival on the main stage. Though we didn’t play for 10,000 people like B-Nectarrr we still managed to snag our biggest crowd to date and had a blast performing. Actually, we had too much fun performing. The mayor of Lake Titticaca shut us down before we finished. Ya, we party. Here’s the highlight vid from our show.

The band crushed it. We had freaking 10 people on stage rocking out with a sweet light show and a sound system that could melt your grandma’s face. Con, SAMM, Steve, and Ty lead it up hard in the front, but our supporting cast crushed hard for us making the show 10x better than it could of been. We had our Chaptown brother, Colin Carter on the guitar and vocals, Joy and Lucy on back up vocals/babe city, then we had our sick drummer Josh Burns crushing beats for us with our new bud Nathaniel DJing.
We packed up a UHaul and drove 10 hours down to Lake Tahohohohe to play this show. In South Lake Tahoe a beauty named Tyler Lewis spotted us up and we covered every inch of his floor with sleeping bags for 3 days. Life on the road you know… The trip signified what we’re trying/have to do to make this work. We want to play gigs, we want to throw incredible parties/shows.
